On Friday, Jan. 20th the DuBois Jaycees also inaugurated a new President for our chapter. Mrs. Rachel Syktich-Steele was officially sworn in as the 2017 DuBois Jaycees President at the annual I & A Banquet held at Doc G's Restaurant. Rachel follows in the footsteps of six other female Presidents who previously led the chapter for our local community.
Also sworn in that night, was the 2017 cabinet of officers for the following positions:
VP Management Development: Randi Johnson
VP Community Development: Zach Dippold
VP Individual Development: Kacee Kirkwood
Treasurer: Jolene Mottern
Secretary: Lauren Hendricks
Parliamentarian: Mike Gould
Scholarship Liaison: Dr. Chris Shaw
Historian/PR Adviser: Summer Anderson
The awards for Jaycee, Rookie and Project of the Year were given out to the deserving members of the DuBois chapter. Congratulations to the following Jaycees whose hard work and dedication earned them these honors:
Rookie of the Year: Kacee Kirkwood
Jaycee of the Year: Neil Hanes
Project of the Year: The Bridge Reconstruction Project (Neil Hanes)
Aside from just chapter recognition, three DuBois Jaycees were honored by the state for their ambition, dedication and enthusiasm for being a Jaycee. They embody what being a Jaycee is about and we couldn't be happier that they are a part of our chapter. Congratulations to the following individuals and their awards:
