Annual Jaycees Easter Egg hunt brings fun, sun and a great turnout

The Annual DuBois Jaycees Easter egg hunt took place on Saturday, April 15th at the DuBois city park. The sun was shining on this beautiful day, and so where the faces of all the participants. The DuBois Jaycees had a record turnout for participation in all age groups. Kids of all ages got to hunt for Easter Eggs filled with candy and stickers (I'm a little jealous), as well received visits from both the Easter bunny and Miss Pennsylvania, Leigha Pertz.

Afterwards, the names of all the kids who participated in the Easter Egg hunt were placed in a drawing for bikes and gift baskets. Pictured above are the winners of the drawings, and as you can see, there are smiles all around.

The DuBois Jaycees would like thank Wal-Mart of DuBois who graciously donated the bikes, and to all those who volunteered to make this event such a success.

We look forward to next year, and in bringing joy to the kids of the local area as well.
