Jaycees hold successful lottery

The Annual Jaycees lottery was a success for the local chapter. Reining in over $6,000 to go towards their fundraising efforts, the DuBois Jaycees were proud to pull off this traditional event for the

community.

The DuBois chapter was also fortunate enough to host the National Jaycees Vice-President, Ria Serrano and her husband as attendants to the lottery. Members gave them a tour of DuBois, and the duo even won a Chinese Auction basket at the end of the night.

Also in attendance was the Pennsylvania Jaycee President-elect, Colleen Whitman, and members from the Scranton Area Jaycee Chapter. Everyone enjoyed themselves, and were not only impressed with the event, but also the overall hard work that the DuBois Chapter puts in to make it run successfully.

The DuBois Jaycees would personally like to thank all business donors who provided both large and small baskets, the Luigi's Villa team who provided assistance and a wonderful venue, and finally a big thank you to our members (former and current) who came out to work the event or show their support.

Be sure to check out the pictures below from the 2017 lottery - great times all around!

The DuBois Jaycees are finishing out their year with Christmas shopping for local families in need, and a Christmas gift wrapping get together in December. For more information check out our calendar of events.
