Starting 2018 off right: Meet your new Executive Board

The DuBois Jaycees started off the New Year in a fun and traditional way. On Saturday, Jan. 20th, the DuBois Chapter had their annual Inductions & Awards banquet at the Gateway Restaurant in DuBois. Members celebrated the accomplishments of 2017, as well as officially swore in the 2018 Executive Board.

Awards were presented for the Jaycee of the Year, Rookie of the Year and Project of the Year. The following (and quite deserving) individuals received these distinguished honors:

Rookie of the Year: Jaala Deemer

Jaycees of the Year: Randi Johnson

Project of the Year: 80's Prom (Co-Chairs - Randi Johnson and Erika Syktich)

"If I could give all of you awards, I would," said 2017 President, Rachel Syktich-Steele. "We had a great year, and we couldn't have done it without all of you here."

The 2018 Executive Board was also officially sworn in. Below is the leadership team that aims to continue on the DuBois Jaycees legacy this year:

President: Randi Johnson

VP Management & Development: Zach Dippold

VP Individual Development: Bridget McClure

VP Community Development: Jaala Deemer

Secretary: Chris Shaw

Treasurer: Jolene Mottern

Parliamentarian Adviser: Sheri Price

Scholarship Liaison Adviser: Courtney Newman

Historian/PR: Summer Anderson

The DuBois Jaycees look forward to a great 2018, and hope to see you at some of our upcoming events!
