DuBois Jaycees Add Online Payment Options
The DuBois Jaycees are now offering different ways to pay for their yearly membership dues, donations and events in 2019. Aside from cash and check, current and new members can pay for their dues via the Venmo or PayPal apps. The idea was brought up at the last Jaycees meeting to have online payment options for members. Venmo, which has become a popular payment method over the last year, was brought up and unanimously agreed upon to use as an option going forward. The DuBois

Tis the Season to be a Jaycee
The DuBois Jaycees have been busy this winter season by reigning in the holiday cheer throughout their local Community. Our chapter has participated in three events that have always meant so much to our membership. The first event was delivering Thanksgiving turkeys to 30 families in the DuBois and its surrounding areas on Thanksgiving morning. Former Jaycees Distinguished Service Award Recipient Passes Away
A.B. Hallstrom, the 2006 recipient of the DuBois Jaycees Distinguished Service Award, passed away on October 29th, 2016. The following obituary was included in the DuBois Courier Express: A.B. Hallstrom, age 88, of Kiwanis Trail, DuBois, Pa., died Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016, at the DuBois Nursing Home. Born on Aug. 12, 1928, in DuBois, Pa., he was the son of the late Godtfred L. and Mary E. Teeing it Up: DuBois Jaycees Hold Annual Golf Scramble
It was a beautiful day in PA for the annual DuBois Jaycees Golf Scramble, which took place on Saturday, August 20th at the Kenterra Golf course. A total of 36 golfers participated in the nine-hole event. Three teams were named as first, second and third place winners. Skill prizes were also awarded for longest drive, longest putt and closest second shot. Nine under was the winning score carded in for the day. Jaycees Bridging Together the Community
DuBOIS — The railings on the wooden bridge located over McCracken Road on the paved side of the Beaver Meadow Walkway in DuBois were rotting away. The floor was soft and spongy and could possibly break with too much weight.
