Jaycees Relay for a Cause

The DuBois Jaycees participated in the annual Relay-for-Life event that was held at the DuBois City park on Saturday, July 23rd. Various vendors hosted booths with food, crafts and fun games all to help raise funds in the fight against cancer. Our Jaycees members sold food and duck derby tickets. These efforts helped us total in over $800 to give back to the American Cancer Society.

The annual Jaycees Duck Derby race took place at the DuBois (Jaycees) City pool. Hundreds of ducks were dumped down the City Park slide (fun times), and the first three that reached the other side were declared winners.

Below are the lucky "ducks" who won this year:

1st - Joe Volosky

2nd - Joanne Yohe

3rd - Mike Kennelly

We want to thank all those who participated and supported us at this year's annual Duck Derby. We always enjoy doing this unique event for our community and for the Relay for Life fundraiser.
